I’ve always had a creative soul, and after exploring various artistic fields as a self-taught artist and traveling across much of the globe, I decided to follow my lifelong dream: creating clothing.

The idea for CHICOS LOCOS was born during a trip to Mexico, in Mazunte, in January 2020, during the global COVID pandemic & I couldn’t get it out of my head anymore.

So I decided to return to Bali, my second home, and got back in touch with the tailor I had worked with previously. Although she was excited about my idea, she let me know she could no longer follow me in my new journey.

Rather than turning to factories or new people, I made the decision, with the precious help of my partner (not without challenges), to leave everything behind in Bali and fully commit to finding a new team in Portugal.

After reaching out through our contacts, traveling, and meeting many people, we finally found what we were looking for.

Our family-run team guarantees high-quality  pieces, designed to last and offer optimal comfort.
